Why Urban Texture Artwork?

  • Abstract Art Is Currently Trending in a Big Way

Custom contemporary, textural art is what many clients and homeowners are looking for.

  • Easily Found Materials

Using just a few paints and plasters, and some simple tools you can create interest and detail in your work.

  • Create Multiple Pieces In One Day

Quickly design, layout and embellish your work to create custom one-of-a-kind pieces.

  • Large Return On Investment

Pieces can be sold for far more than the cost of time and materials. The course investment is only $144, and you will be able to sell your pieces for far more than that! You'll have access for one full year, and can create many, many pieces of art in that timeframe.

About Your Instructor

Michelle Bergman

Michelle Bergman

Michelle is a decorative painter, artist, teacher, Faux Effects distributor, wife, mom of four, and grandma. She is a lover of all things creative, and says it’s just a part of her DNA! More than 25 years into it, she has painted everything from walls to cabinets, furniture to murals, and designs on canvas and glass. Behind the scenes, I've devoted a substantial amount of time developing new finishes and studying with accomplished artisans from all over the country to keep up with the latest trends, expanding my practice of creativity and feeding my creative soul. One of my biggest passions is helping others find ways to express their creativity. I believe we were all born with creative talents, and with some practice and experience, we can use those talents to make things we are proud of.

  • When does the class start and finish?

The class is open and available now, and you have one full year of access! It is completely self-paced online and you have unlimited access for a full year.

  • Are there any live components to the class?

Yes! There will be two live Zoom sessions. During the first session I’ll demonstrate a graffiti style technique I’ve created on my studio walls and on canvas. The second session will include a Q&A time and the opportunity to share work you’ve completed. Both sessions will be recorded for later viewing if you can’t attend.

  • How long will it take me to create a piece?

Each of these pieces should take you about 1 to 1.5 hours plus additional drying time . You can create multiple pieces at once which is great if you are creating work for an art show or gallery exhibit.

  • What if I need help?

You can ask any questions in my private student group on Facebook. Once you enroll in the class, you will be invited to join that group.
